Chapter History
The St. Paul/Minneapolis Alumni Chapter received its charter from the Grand Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. on February 27, 1954. At the time, alumni chapters of historically Black Greek organizations were rare. But in part because of the foresight of the
charter members of this Chapter, Alumni Chapters now represent an integral part of the strength and vitality of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
The charter members of the St. Paul/Minneapolis Alumni Chapter are: Dr. Charles Williams, George Berry, James Crump, Carter Ellis, Dennis Heines, Thomas Neal, Lloyd Smith, Rueben Frazier, Ollie Grantham, James Griffin, Ernest Johnson, Elmer Morris and Clifton Rucker.
